There is something special about watching a sunrise. Each one rises to the occasion with it's own special palette, the golden moment is usually just that, a moment in time changing completely in seconds. With time being of the essence (the sun will rise unexpectedly fast!) I usually expose for the highlights and then bracket my exposures, usually with one stop intervals.
