Winter time in the Mid-West New South Wales region heralds some stunning landscape opportunities. Fog and mist arrives and disappears like ghosts across the hills and valleys, it ebbs and flows, captivates the viewer. If you're lucky enough to find a vast vista the effect is even more special.
I use various lenses to capture the scenes, two of my favourites are a wide angle lens in the region 0f 20-24mm at the other end of the scale I like to use a telephoto lens up to 200mm and literally zoom right in to capture more intimate details like the mist playing around with the sunlight in the trees.
